Mrs Rusty Winterbottom is signing off ....

It is with great regret that I compose my last post to you, my eager readers. I have spent many happy hours here in The Kitchen with all my admirers ,and I know that, for them, the world is now a better place as a result.

My thanks to the good folk of Oriel Davies and Relish Cafe, who supported me so well, and especially to Amber Knipe, who had the excellent idea of inviting me in the first place. No Poet Laureate or KItchen Goddess could have had better service. I trust you will all live happily ever after ...

SOME CHARMING VISITORS - AND ORIEL STAFF - RECEIVED BESPOKE POETRY ON THE KITCHEN UTENSIL OF THEIR CHOICE, AND IT WAS PARTICULARLY GRATIFYING TO BE ABLE TO ASSIST PETER IN CELEBRATING HIS SIGNIFICANT BIRTHDAY IN STYLE.  HE WAS TOUCHED AND MOVED BY HIS POEM, WHICH WAS A MAGNUM OPUS REQUIRING FOUR PAPER PLATES!
